The Rockville K9 series has been our best selling series of subs and it just got even better! Say hello to the K9 V3. This sub is a game changer. We improved the performance and cooling like crazy! Our engineers did some minor tweaks that give major results for bassheads who like to abuse subs! We made the following upgrades that will keep the voice coil cooler improving the subs ability to take constant abuse.

1. The dustcap was upgraded to the same one we use in our Punisher series. It is top of the line. Sure it increased our cost but we kept the low price the same!

2. We added an inner dustcap that stops heat from building up in the voice coil. We also made our pole vent smaller. The combination of these 2 changes keeps the voice coil significantly cooler when you are playing bass heavy songs or test tones.

3. We added a voice coil spacer that vastly improves the performance.

4. The cone has a smooth finish that allows the dustcap to be glued on more securely.

All Rockville enclosures come with a customized enhanced glue that is unmatched by any other manufacturer. That means that the carpet will stay in place and not rip or tear. The ¾” USA MDF is much stronger then any type of import wood. This will keep your box performing at an optimal level by not flexing and distorting your woofers. Your woofers will thank you! EVERY Rockville enclosure is not only glued at all joints but stapled as well. If that wasn’t enough we add a layer of silicon to every seam! This makes your Rockville enclosure rock even more!

This is way better than using 16 gauge. You can be 100 % sure that your enclosure will have a clean signal to the amplifier with this top of the line speaker wire. These spade terminals have also been hand selected by our installation experts to make the internal wiring simple, secure, and to run the audio signal cleanly.
